Things We Love

November saw the launch of a new website called the Things We Love.  It's an online gallery of art, craft & design.  Janine's Smashing Chintz range of Flying Ducks on Plates are available to buy exclusively from the Things We Love.

 Teacup Candles

Janine has been busy creating a new and limited edition of 50 handmade candles in teacups to sell this Christmas.  She has used up her personal collection of china teacups!  The candles are made from soya wax.  Simply wash out the wax afterwards to use the cup for tea drinking. 

Alternatively, use a tealight candle in the cup or a lovely idea for decorating a Christmas table is to pop a cyclamen or a pansy plant inside the cup for temporary colour (but longer lasting than a vase of flowers, just plant out into the garden afterwards). 

Soap on a Saucer

Also new this Chintzmas, is a limited range of 15 soaps on saucers.  This is an easy idea to do yourself to add that bit of chintz in the bathroom.  The soaps are made by Faith in Nature. 

 Shopping Events

Smashing Chintz teacup candles and soaps on saucers can be puchased at the Winter Fair at Lewisham Arthouse on 13th &14th December.

Janine will be at Dulwich Craft and Design Fair for the first time on Saturday 13th December.  A range of Smashing Chintz work will be on display from brooches to framed and plated mosaics.

Gift vouchers for workshops

We are nearly at the end of 2008!  New dates for workshops in 2009 will be posted up on the website soon.  Gift vouchers for weekend workshops are available to purchase from £10.
